How to write a model casting brief

Give models and the production team the same clear information before a casting decision.

Start company application

Describe the assignment

Start with the campaign goal, audience, product and visual references. State the location, date, working duration and relevant specialty.

List deliverables and intended use

Specify image or video counts, formats and delivery dates. Describe the proposed channels, territory, duration and any exclusivity for discussion and written agreement.

Example brief

Studio skincare shoot, one day, six vertical photographs and two 15-second videos. Proposed use: the brand website and social channels for three months. Add your actual budget, country, dates and production team; this is an example, not a contract.

Make approval explicit

Name the decision-maker, record changes in the request conversation and confirm the final brief before arrangements. Link supporting documents without exposing identity evidence.
