Files covered
This policy covers private model identity documents, verification videos and company verification documents. Portfolio media, contracts, messages and review decisions are different record categories and are not deleted by the identity-file cleanup.
Access and purpose
Files support identity or business review. Access is limited by account role and the relevant review workflow. Do not place identity documents in your public portfolio or send them through ordinary casting messages.
Scheduled deletion
Reviewed verification files become eligible for deletion after 90 days from the latest recorded review. Pending files without a review date are not removed by this rule. Cleanup runs only when the scheduled retention command is executed; replacement submissions may restart the relevant review period.
What remains
Deleting a verification file does not erase review decisions, audit records, contracts or messages. These records have separate purposes and may require separate action. Database and site backups also need an operator-managed retention schedule; deleting the live file does not guarantee immediate removal from every backup.
Requesting review or erasure
Use the reporting page with your account reference to request deletion or ask why a file is still held. Do not attach another identity document to the request unless a secure verification process specifically requires it. Applicable legal duties and disputes must be evaluated before responding.
